Hello, I finished a match between Hiarcs 6 for Mac and MacChess 5.0 on two performa 5260 (PPC 603e, 120 Mhz, no cache). The games were in 40mvs/2h. The result is : Hiarcs-MacChess = 8-2 (+7 =2 -1) I'm very impressed by the positional play of Hiarcs : MacChess was often 2 plies deeper (in the middlegame the average was 6-7 for Hiarcs and 8-9 for MacChess), but it was a complete domination of Hiarcs. Hiarcs is also very (very) good in the endings. I really thought that MacChess had a chance on such a slow machine. Hiarcs must be impressive on a G3 !!
