My files are OK at least according to Wilhelm >(http://www.geocities.com/rba_schach2000/) > >I have tried to get support from Chessbase on this issue but have not even >received the courtesy of an email reply. > >I am reluctant to continue the process of downloading additional 6 man files >until I am confident that I won't be wasting my time. > >Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated Nalimov changed and optimized his code several times. The ChessBase-GUI isn t able to use all current 6 men, unless you download the latest and free access-software to Chessbase-Server (around 11,4 MB; www.playchess.com). Then nstall, search for the TBACCESS.dll and install this file per drag and drop in your Chessbase-GUI-root-directory. The old one will be overwritte. Use Fritz 8 or Junior 8, but not Shredder 8 oder Hiarcs 9, then all 6-men will work. Hope this solves your problem. Helmut
