Hopefully that isn't based off the Prescott core (which unfortunately it probably is). Aceshardware ran a test with a Prescott P4 core vs a Northwood P4 core.. the Prescott was 20% slower in chess (diep). If any of the other chess programs do the same thing.. your dual 3.6 may end up seeming like a dual 2.9. On November 01, 2004 at 20:41:51, K.
