For beginners and Chessbase users, Chessbase is easier to use, more intuitive to
handle. On the other hand ChessAssistant offers more functions and features and
is a lot cheaper. ChessAssistand already contains some programs such as the new
Tiger 2004 and contains playing and analyzing functions whereas ChessBase needs
Fritz or some other GUI additionally for this which means extra costs.
