I have some questions about SSDF ELO Rating: some simple, some not so simple: 1) I think the SSDF ELO ratings have been 'knocked back' at times, to make them more 'realistic'. I think there was a 100-pt deduction recently. Is this right, when was it, and were there other discontinuities in rating? 2) Many more games are played under the SSDF flag than for FIDE ELO ratings. Does this produce an 'inflationary' effect, or some other trend which is more pronounced in the SSDF 'community' than in the FIDE community? g
