It will be inflationary, deflationary, or neutral. Actually, what increases is just the uncertainty. There is another possible effect from extreme aging... Suppose you have 100 games against Morphy and Staunton. 125 years later, what is the meaning? If you look at actual contest results, I think that the current ratings are probably within 150 Elo one way or another. At any rate, they will beat most players handily. So it's mostly an experiment in handwaving, what numbers we eventually attach to them.
