I think Peter was try ting to act in the best interest of the authors and his response , given what he knew, was appropriate. As an aside, I think the whoe transaction should been handled through private e-mail and then all us could have minded our own business. When you post in a public forum, saying "mind your own business" seems to me to be a surprising comeback. Since the original author elected to make his private business to be public business so to speak.
