I believe we have today the biggest collectiion of computer chess games if we collect only the games from chess server, perhaps 10 Million games are played, I don't know. Companys, like ChessBase must have a big database to improved the opening books for chess engines if ChessBase only looking on all the played games on the own server :-) A little secret I believe :-)) I collect games in the 2-3 years Frank's Chess Page is running. Around (all in one) 40.000 games are on the page available. User tourneys, own tourneys, other events. In this time I collect around 500.000 comp-comp games. In the latest years I collect around 450.000 but not with the same energy the first years. I believe all in one we can have a comp database with around 10 million or more games. This would be great for the book creators and programmers :-) Only a short thinking about it! Best Frank
