Current Averno version is 0.79, and has a lot of changes in pondering code, so testing 0.70 will not help much. I'm testing several search ideas, so I have no clue so far which ones are optimal. Then I prefer you don't test Averno in ATL yet, and I'll take more time to release a well tested (I still find some bug here and there) version and then try to find the problem with Arena and Averno. I'd like to also remind that other programs show this strange problem, not only Averno, so it might be something with my system. For example: antivirus (McAfee), processor (Athlon), OS (winXP), though antivirus and processor are the same in my other computer, which works well. It might be a combination of factors (XP + Athlon dual + ponder on + ...). I'll try to get more clues. José C.
