I own a Tascbase 2.1 without this diskette installation counter crap, in my opinion Tascbase 2.0 was the last version with this copy protection. My Tascbase 2.1 I can install as often as I want from the CD only. In the past I've used Tascbase 2.0, this version does not support FRC. But my Tascbase 2.1 supports FRC. I've played a blitz frc game against the King and it did castle in the right way (correct frc castle)!
