You can install DOS or better Win98 and use all DOS-Rebels, Tascbase and all the other old DOS stuff. The speed decrease is around 10% for chess programs -- if you use an 3GHz computer your chess program is as fast as it would be on a 2.7 GHz computer. Unfortunatly the newest version costs 189$, but maybe one can find an older version of vmware much cheaper (ebay or so). ciao Lars
