I wrote a good comparison of the previous versions of both programs some time
ago.

But I think it is unlikely that I will do so for CB 9/CA 8, since I don't expect
that Chessbase will send me a copy (and I will not buy one). I fully agree that
to adequately compare the two products, you need both extensive experience
working with them, and a whole lot of spare time on your hands.

In a couple/few weeks, I should have a fairly comprehensive review of Chess
Assistant 8 up on my new site (www.chessassistance.com).
