Andy Solitis devotes this months "Chess to Enjoy" article about Chess and Computers there are several memorable quotes in it, my favorite being.. "Garry Kasparov relied so much on cyber-backup in checking over the games of Mikhail Tal,et al,that a computer seems to be the main co-author of My Great Predecessors II" :)) he raises an interesting issue namely that in todays professinal chess world, analysts now consider that there are two kinds of "Best Move" when analysing a game for publication, depending on who the opponent is. if the opponent is a computer then the best move would be somnewhat safe and void of deep tactical possibilites where as if the opponent is flesh and blood the best move would be that move which offered the opponent many chances to go wrong . interesting stuff Best Steve
