No, it is not.

The engine runs about 2-3% faster (some people told me up to 7%) and the book is
not the same.

Also using Shredder8a.bkt in tournament mode only the best moves will be played
(a to c) while the d moves will be played only when there are no a, b or c
moves.

Also the learning feature is different.
