I can't answer the question you asked :-). It appears from the literature that CB will now offer an instant position search, like CA has had for some time. So from that standpoint, they may be fairly close. I don't know about other searches. BTW CA 8 now supports CQL, which is not supported by any other commercial program at the moment. Expect CQL search speed to a be a strong function of the complexity of the query. Bob
