What is DeadKing and how did you obain it? From what I understand, it's piece
of code that was originally written by DeKoning and modified in an unauthorized
fashion by a third party. It may not be but stealing but it is unauthorized
use of intellecual property created by DeKoning and discussions about it will
eenable people to use the CM engine unlawfully.

Intellectual property cannot be compared to physical property. You cannot feel,
touch , look at a chess engine. Source code can be easily duplicated 1000's of
time in a few seconds. Distribution of illegal code can completely destroying
any resale value that is due to the rightful owner.

That is why there are specific laws regarding intellectual property to protect
those who create it.

This is not all about you or about you stealing, the world is much bigger than
the one that you see revolving around yourself. I could care less what you do
with CM engines, Fritz GUI etc. However, this is about the protection of
intellectual property owed by the rightful owners. IMO , discussions about the
use of Deadking is clearly injurious to the authors. Unscrupulous people will
be able to use that information and use his intellectual property unlawfully.
That is not right. As long as I am moderator of CCC, I will not allow
discussions that I believe harm the intellectual property rights (and value ) of
those who created it.
Best,

Michael
