Hi,

I forget ...
Thanks for the Gandalf news!

I order Gandalf for a long time and I am sure that a lot of persons will buy the
software. Gandalf is perhaps the most interesting chess program if I thinking
only on the playing style in middelgame, long time analyses, tactic, strategy.

I wish Steen, his team and yourself you have success with Gandalf. The first
steps are done (WinBoard Edition, Gandalf 5) and the most know how strong is
this chess program. A lot of work in the past, thinking an all the bad comments
about Gandalf in German chess newspaper, Peter Schreiner in Rochade for an
example. I as an older Gandalf fan will never forget what I must read about
Gandalf in German newspaper. The reason that I don't read since this time the
German newspaper magazines.

I hope that really chess experts will write about Gandalf a honest review for
the others.

You know, I know, that the most are know all what is public in computer chess
newspaper on information is right. Only 40% today have in Germany an own
internet account an no other information. The long time readers know from which
person I can read a good review and from which persons I must know that the
author of a review have own interest.

Perhaps, you can try to public in the future a ChessTiger UCI or WB version.
This wish is discuss for around four years in the older ChessBits forum by
around 25 users. Today we must seach in WWW a thread 25 users try to give a good
comment. Its not in all cases right to go the way others go and the users have
much more fun. Just my opinion ...

I wish you a nice weekend and good luck with Gandalf.
The buyers a lof of fun with this great chess program Gandalf!

Best
Frank
