Go up one level in this thread

If my current post does not get deleted as well, I might be able to tell
the CCC members about the whole issue concerning 3 messages of mine.

Below I quote an email message that Peter Fendrich sent to me tonight. Therein
he testifies about the deletion of my message and his own replies to it.

After my first message was deleted I posted a farewell message in which I
explained that I will temporarily stop to actively contribute to CCC as
long as this new and IMO unreasonable style of moderation continues.

This second message was then instantly removed together with a third
message in which I replied to Peter Fendrich's post.

This is the whole story about messages of mine that were removed.

However, my post which initially got the moderators involved with me was still
visible the last time I checked.

I like to add to the above that the newly elected moderators have frequently
not adhered to their proclaimed "higher level of decorum" themselves. I deem
there obvious application of double standards to "plain" CCC members and
themselves totally unacceptable.

Moreover, I see CCC as a self-governing democratic forum which decides about
its own destiny. Therefore, the members need the possibility to discuss
about their desired style of governance within the forum itself.

Cheers,

=Ernst=

P.S.
In order to save me further hassle of not knowing whether my posts about
moderational issues get deleted or not here in CCC, I have started an
according discussion thread on RGCC. I invite all interested CCC members
to join in there. Of course, I am happy to provide my call for discussion
to you by email as well.
