I'm not sure what HW you were using. The Baron is below two minutes too (on
P4-2.4). The score on 11 ply is still a fail high score. At uneven plies I don't
let the Baron resolve big fail high's, but rather go to the next ply (if it is
too early to stop and return a move). So the first 'exact' score after the
initial fail high on Kg3 is shown after almost 5 minutes:
