HI Ismenio >I know this won't happen but just as an exercise, imagine if we were to have a >chess channel – could you find enough stuff to fill in a TV channel with chess >related programming? Would that ever be feasible? (after all, we do have the >golf channel!) sadly, outside of eastern Europe, chess is not all that popular in the western countries of course millions know how to play chess but there is no great interest in the Royal game as a spectator sport when the 1990 match between Kasparov and Karpov was held in NYC (right near my office) i was able to walk in off the street ,5 minutes before the start and purchase a ticket within the first 10 rows when Kasparov played 3D Fritz last year at the NYC Athletic club(again near my office) i was able to again walk right in to watch one of the games i think the only way your "Chess Channel" can meet with success is to devote perhaps 90%-95% of the regularly scheduled programming to "Dedicated Chess Computers" you will need a well spoken, charismatic and brilliant TV personality to discuss the old computers, going over the features, playing games..etc for this purpose i recommend our own Coordinator..Fernando Villegas :)) Best Steve
