I am not so sure about it.

I guess that 27...Re8 was a blunder that could be prevented by search.

old fritz(Deep fritz6) had a better evaluation so it does not need to search
deep to see it but I suspect that if you give Fritz8 more time it changes it's
mind and does not choose 27...Re8 and I do not think that 27...axb3 is losing
the game.

After 27...Re8 28.c5 and 29.Qxa4 white got a dangerous passed pawn and Fritz8's
score.dropped from +1.xx for black to +0.8x for black.
