You have my fully support for your words :-) A long time beta test and very good results Lex added in CCC. I know that for around one year the Gandalf 6 beta version is around 40-50 ELO stronger. Two Beta tester reported me. But this seems not enough for Steen and the team tested a longer time and Steen develops Gandalf one year more. For me with ChessBase 9.0, the comming soon Shredder 9.0 is Gandalf the most important new version of commercial software. I like that: Shredder 9.0 have UCI support Gandalf 6.0 have UCI / WB support ChessBase 9.0 have UCI support Furthermore the most important and long time development books are with Shredder 9.0 and Gandalf 6.0 are available. The books alone make the updates interesting. But the best news for me this year is that Christian BARRETEAU develops the older AnMon now longer after the message last year that he develops a new program with the name BonPo :-) Best Frank
