not exactly rare but not all that common either
the Monarch board is the largest  of the three boards that Conchess released
however all Conchess boards(Escorter,Ambassador and Monarch) have very high
defect rates
sooner or later this board will become  defective

this particular auction is for the Monarch board with the Standard A module
which is quite common
Conchess released many other modules before finally going out of business in the
mid-1980's
some are quite rare

Sandro Necchi(Shredder opening book author and member here)was the opening book
author for one of Conchess's last modules
