Subject: Tasc R30 Auction..possible problem

As our trusty moderator Mike Byrne cautioned..there might be a problem with this
auction

some collector's have discovered that the photo's of this auction are exactly
the same as an auction for another Tasc which sold about 2-3 weeks ago
in that auction the seller was from Great Britain and the buyer was from Germany

the winning price was over $2275 USD so the chances of this computer being sold
by the winning German buyer to the current US seller and then the current seller
offering it for $1000 is unlikely

even the metallic suitcase is present in both auctions
highly unusual because Tasc did not sell a suitcase like this

even much of the auction description is verbatim..word for word

there exists the possibility of course that the seller is merely using the same
photo's because he cannot make photo's of his own
but one would have expected for him to mention something like that in his rather
lengthy auction description and of course mention that the briefcase is not part
of the auction.

all of this coupled with the fact(as Mike so rightly pointed out)that you have a
NEW Ebay seller with NO FEEDBACK..leads one to highly question the sellers
intentions

i have sent an e-mail to the seller asking him to explain the photo situation
(about 5 hours ago)..no reply as of yet

i will post the reply..should i ever receive one

the current auction:

Cautious Regards
