what is the difference between Chessbase GUI and Arena GUI?

SOS 4 in chessbase GUI plays much better in an 1 minute game,better time
management in chessbase
SOS runs out of time in Arena GUI

similar case with Yace and most do other engines
does that mean Arena program lacks in UCI support?or was the program not
configured correctly?
