Hi John >I am ignorant of how the EBay system works in this regard, but I was wondering >whether EBay should be notified of this apparent scam. my goal in posting the alert regarding this auction was to inform my fellow CCC members that other collectors worldwide are raisinig doubts about the auction in addition i thought it helpful to repeat what our moderator(the right honerable) Mike Byrne said when he also cautioned the membership regarding it as far as taking it to Ebay and making a formal complaint,i am not certain that would be appropriate because i have no real proof the auction is a scam. logic of course dictates it is,but that is not the same a concrete proof i imagine one can make a complaint about any auction with little or no justification but i am reluctant to do so without any hard proof.
