Uri,

That was years ago and is very dated.  Also, Kasparov beats Shirov regularly
"like a drum."  Last time I looked, at various time controls, Kasparov was
something like +15-0 against Shirov, not counting draws.  Shirov has *never*
beaten Kasparov, and a match with him against Kasparov would be very one-sided.
I'm sure Kasparov would welcome it, and the easy payday.  At this point,
Kasparov's tough opponents are people like Kramnik, Anand, Leko, Morozevich,
Topalov.  These are the people he should play, not Shirov.
