Thank you for your input, and the Challenge. You can challenge me to the position after 1...Ke5 if you like, [D]8/2p5/5p1p/4kBp1/8/2p2PbP/4K1P1/8 w - - 0 2 Rather than go through a long thread; let me present a summary of my position, and clarify a few points. I use Analysis Modules as a tool. There are however, many positions that they do not understand, this I bel;ieve is one. I play Chess, I use Chess Programs as a tool. Do I trust them? Haa Haa.. No way! Now, from the Diagram, how can Black make progress? 1. Queen a pawn on the C file 2. Create a passed pawn on the Kingside Agreed? It's a simple matter of "Corresponding Squares". To Queen a pawn on the c file requires the support of the Black King. Agreed? When the Black King arrives at b2, the White King must be on d1 and his Bishop controls c2. Black cannot make progress. For the Black King to intrude on the Kingside he must intrude the position. Agreed? When the Black King arrives at g3 for example, the Corresponding Square for the White King is f1. Black cannot make progress, or create a passed pawn. Simple Chess! The Black and White Bishops just keep moving on their respective Diagonals and cannot affect the outcome. Please consider the Strategic evaluation, and not the Computer evaluations. Even IF, and a big IF, Black does happen, through a White mistake, end up with a passed Pawn on the h file, the White King simply moves to h1, and with the Black Bishop of the wrong color, again it's a Draw! Simple Chess here... I welcome your thoughts and comments, and if you still want to challenge me, that's fine. But, first refute my assessment of the position. Thanks, Chan
