I purchased the "WM" version of Fritz 8.0 today from EB Games, and the engine version is 8.0.26. I updated the interface and such on the playchess server, and the engine version did not change. Am I to assume I didn't get the latest version? Nor the strongest current version? EB Games states it is the exact copy listed off the Chessbase website, ordered through EB 1 week ago when the version history was a topic here. Although I saved a small amount ($5.90 CDN) by ordering through EB I was under the impression that I was getting the Bilboa as stated in this message: http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?394955 Am I getting a lesser revision of the engine because it is in english?
