Hello
Without saying anything about Gandalf you can not trust games that where played
on the playchess server. Have a look at blacks move 28. (Rh8 {1.64/17 454}).
Depth 17 after 454 seconds? I know that Christian is using a rather up to date
computer but the other one seems to be really slow or completly missconfigured
(Hashsize? Eval?).
On my XP@2200MHz Shredder 8 needs 29s to reach that depth even if there is
nothing in the hash allready. 454s is like Shredder running on a 142MHz Athlon
CPU or a XP200+ :-)!

After the rook sac of gandalf (nice move!) La-Sirene needs 4 minutes to reach
depth 14. My comp is doing this in a little less than 1 min (Empty hash! La
Sirene running on a 550Mhz XP?). I susspect something else was running on that
computer as well. The problem with the sac is that a "normal" comp might have
seen it earlier. On my comp S8 is declining the sac after 2min and 52s.
