Hi Dom,

Smirf comes with its own GUI and TMCI protocol. But both are still under
development. No one yet has declared interest in sharing that protocol.
It supports 10x8 variants based on the Capablanca piece set, 8x8 standard
chess, both optional combined with Fischer castlings. Of course shuffle
chess is also possible. I personally prefer CRC as programming drosophila:
Capablanca Random Chess. The GUI can read, write and comment PGN files.
