It is very annoying to have to switch between windows and dos to use a dos
program. Of course you can try to run in a dos window under windows. However
my experience with Rebel 8 indicates this can be difficult to get working
reliably. At first if I tried to run Rebel 8 in a dos window it would crash
unpredictably if I used the mouse. Eventually I got it to work (apparently) by
using a magic incantation some guru posted. However I have lost interest in the
program for other reasons.
