Sounds like a problem I have with Shredder 8 on playchess.com. In my case Shredder would go to sleep on occasion, still pondering opponents move when in fact that move had already been posted. I lost many games on time because of that problem. I reinstalled, disabled cache, egtb, and many other tweaks but the problem remained. I did not have any problems with Deep Fritz 8 on playchess.com. Very wierd, my system was a Dell P4 2.8ghz 1gb ram. Barry
