When running Hiarcs 7 in windows i can seem to only get 128kb of hash tables:(. Is there a way to change this? When i run Rebel and Mchess even if i'm in Windows i can have fairly large hash tables. This reminds me of the old Fritz 3 and it's X mode. How significantly does running that amount of hash(128kb) reduce the strength of H7? I'm running it on a P166MMX with 32 megs of ram and win95. P.S. I have a Compaq presario laptop also it's a 200Mhz Cyrix Media GX chip(shoot me) 32megs. When i clock it, i get that it's running at about 169MHz. It still runs WAY slower than my P166MMX it seems to be like a P133. So i was wondering what's the formula for calculating ratings when you slow down a system from 200Mhz again? Anyone know anything about this chip?
