http://www.zanchetta.net/ceboard/ Our own , Alain Zanchetta has performed a fantastic job of performing the port for Crafty 19.17 SE PB to Pocket PC. This version will use the exact same books as the PC version and also handles all the new Personality books as well as the delay move feature and having it select random personalities. It is relatively stable, but it may still crash now and then. I strongly reccommend pondering off until its more stable. One correction on the website, Crafty 19.17 SE PB is not by, me, Michael Byrne. Crafty 19.17 SE PB is based on Crafty created by and copyrighted by our own Bob Hyatt which has been modified by me, Michael Byrne. The code is way in excess of 90% identical to Crafty 19.17 code. Alain will correct that as soon as he get my e-mail requesting him to correct the language . There will be a Crafty Classic 2004 SE PB for the PC and PPC very soon - maybe even this weekend. Also , our own Bryan Whitby has requested that the "Crafty" bitmap that is currently in included be removed. I had used as the base for creating the bitmap one of his Challenger piece sets from Genius ( not even thinking it would be an issue, and not checking with Bryan - my bad). Alain will remove that bitmap at Bryan's request. I will create a new bitmap from scratch, pixel by pixel , one of which that will look sort of his like bitmap because I like that design. In modifying his bitmaps, I had taken his original bitmap - made it fit into Winboard CE and then made some minor comestic changes. I will create new ones this weekend , just by going to MS Paint and literally creating from scratch pixel by pixel. This is beta and it may cause your PPC to freeze - use at your own risk and backup your PPC before using. Not that it has been that bad - but, natually we cannot be responsible if you lose all your data on your PPC and you do not have a backup.
