If I'm annoyed enough I will noplay them. There are a lot of clone accounts. That's not a bad thing, but I can see how some author/operators would prefer competing only with originals. The one good thing about allowing clones is that they support competition when the original is busy or offline. For automated non-ICS matches, I do not have access to those engines which are Windows specific as I do not allow any Microsoft OS in my home lab. Open source programs that I can compile and run under Mac OS X or Linux are used instead. Therefore, ICC play is useful in part because that's the only way that Symbolic can compete against Windows specific programs. But ICC play is far more useful in that it allows play against a variety of humans. It would be nice if there were some sort of ICC convention where a computer player would be automatically identifed as either an original or a clone, and perhaps this could be included as a term in the formula semantics.
