I am not the author, Jaime.
Here, Arena GUI displays Xadreco´s thinking, only 2 moves depth.
Perhaps you haven´t filled the Comand Line Options with:
xboard
What is your GUI ?
If you download xadreco-v5.1.zip, the book is within, livro.txt
