This may a stupid question. But I have had trouble finding the version #. I do
not find it in the usual place: Help-About Fritz 8. What I do find is the
following in the title: About Fritz 8 (Apr 16 2004) and in the about window:
ChessBase GmbH. There is nothing that I saw close to 8.x.x.x
