True my rating is only about 1925, but I beat one master, one expert and drew another expert. Fritz 5 when set to play a game/60 at the low rating will still take maybe 2 or even 3 seconds per move on my PC. That might not sound like much, but this program could probably beat most grandmasters at bullet chess. I would think that any GM could play bullet chess as well or better than I can play regular tournament chess. (Based upon what I have seen on ICC, this may be true.) Some of my friends have had a chance to play Fritz 5 slow games at the low rating, and everybody seems to think that it plays much stronger than its rating. At least I seem to have a chance when I play it speed chess. Based upon my speed chess play, the program has assigned me a rating of 1480 :-) My experience with playing fritz at slow chess is only based upon losing one game. But the program did seem to play pretty strong, and this is not what I would expect from the 1450 setting. John Coffey
