i am surprised to report that the newly released Star Ruby is still working fine on its intital set of batteries! we are talking perhaps 60+ hours of play the Star Sapphire would run dry on no more then 10 Hours of play i myself cannot account for this major difference to my knowledge the processor and clock speed are identical the opening book is much smaller and the program does have less memory built in(move tack back is less and no game saving feature) but still..quite a difference not that im complaining!
