The last tournament that I remember Ferret is the following tournament

Note that 2003 is less than 2 years back

The question if it did poorly is something that I leave to the readers to
decide.

Yace that is not the best amateur scored better and commercial programs did not
compete but of course one tournament proves nothing.

Ferret had better results in 2001 when it won a tournament with the same number
of points as deep fritz and a worse tournament in 2002 when it finished only at
place 16 in the table.
