Hiarcs 7.0 and Chess Tiger 11.7 are better than CM6000. For the price though
CM6000 can't be beat. Like I have said before, todays programs are weak
compared to what we will have in five to ten years. CM6000 is a pain to use for
analysis and the CD residency requirement makes it very irritating. Mindscape,
the distributor of CM6000, has a very poor support department with regards to
chess. Given a choice between paying $29.00 US for CM6000 and $59.00 US for
Hiarcs 7.0, I would spend more for the better program. I already have Hiarcs 6
also for DOS and find that very good and much easier to use for analysis.

I would think that an Aussie like yourself would like a program by a proper
Englishman (Mark Uniacke). Rule Brittania!
