As long as the opponent's rating is valid, it makes no difference to me whether the opponent is a computer masquerading as a human. I'm playing the rating, and really don't care whether opponent is biological or silicon. On the other hand, I don't want to play a rating of 2000 that's really 2500. I don't know whether it's possible to fake a rating. Roger
