Subject: AMD64 3400 @ 2.4 gigahertz????

I've been talking to people on this board and they say that they have bought an
AMD64 3400 chip at 2.4gigahertz...

SOME sources on the net say they are only 2.2 some say some are 2.4,
no one seems to know here in Ottawa, the people at the computer stores are
clueless.  There is socket 939 and 754, whats the difference between the two?
And which is 2.2 and which is 2.4,

this is driving me crazy,
