 There isn't anything to argue about. The rules are clear in this case. But
there are sometimes additional rules in competitions that allows arbiters to
intervene. Those so called 'Fair Play' rules are often way too subjective and
lenient, IMO. If you can't manage your time it shold not count to your
advantage.
