Harvey, Get the ATI Radeon 9800 video card upgrade and the 425 Watt power supply. Other than that it is a good system. You don't need the AMD 3700. In two years you should still be happy with your baby. The monitor should be 21 to 22 inches. I recommend the Viewsonic line.
