Changing the selective search value will not change the speed at which
Chessmaster makes its moves; that is entirely dependent upon the time control.
The King is well-known for its conservative use of the clock, and there is no
way to change this within the CM GUI.

However, for a 5-minute game (assuming relatively modern hardware) you should
use the default selective search value of 9.
