Hi Thorzten! Why you say that Richard made no serious progress? Genius 7 is a very strong program. Maybe not so strong like TOP programs, but still is very strong. Is difficult to know how really strong is Genius 7 against the Top programs because the Genius engine doesn`t work under Chessbase GUI and viceversa. Maybe it cannot win a match against the Top chessbase engines, but it can play a very good games, and still win some games. Genius 7 has a unique style. Very, very solid and has a very ¨drawish¨ style. There are no program that can play like Genius. And it is a pity that a program like the wonderfull Genius, cannot be used under Chessbase GUI. This is a very weak point of the program. Deborah,T
