Hi George

 This may sound simple but did you try to change the fonts. Maybe the default
font is not figurine. If this doesnt work try manually installing all the fonts
in Fritz's font folder. Also under tools-options-clocks and notation check to
see that figurine notation is selected. Hope this helps.
