I am playing this program giving him 90 secons per move, a good intermediate pace equal to 1 hour for 40 moves. It plays very very good. Too much for me. It has its own peculiar style, IMHO. It is QUIET. You does not feel the unrelenting pressure of a Fritz or Junior program; you even begin to think everything is going OK. You like very much your position. You begin to make long range plans. You smile and feel you are a genius. And then bang.....A quiet, easy, whispering move and all is over. In a sudden the hidden weaknesses of your position appears at full light. You cannot believe it but you are already lost or at least you have lost any advantage you though you had. And you must begin to collect the pieces... Slowchess has impressed me a lot. I cannot stop to play -and lose- to him. I advice to get it and play it. Fernando
